Champagne Réserve Brut.

... A champagne with body

Origin

This classical Champagne is made of a blend of 3 grapes varieties : Pinot Noir 60%, Pinot Meunier 10%, Chardonnay 30%. It is from the harvest 2005 (30%) and 2006 (70%). It were bottled in 2007.
The pinots has been chosen among the vineyard of La Chapelle-Monthodon, Le Breuil (Vallée de la Marne) and Rilly-la-Montagne (Montagne de Reims). Those different terroirs have an interesting body particularly fruity. This is really an advantage when blended with Chardonnay from Montgueux (Aube) which have a « brioche » taste and a reasonable acidity. Pierre Gonet wanted to show more the style of a house in a blend Champagne.

Wine notes
The wine is gold colour ; the aromas are typically those from a Champagne with body. Rich and strong, the Pinots bring an original note of personality. The chardonnay brings a fresh taste and make a nice well balanced wine.
Thanks to very goods proportion of the different grapes, this cuvée will find his place for a cocktail. It is a suitable Champagne for any occasion with good friends.
