Differents « Terroirs »


The vineyards (19 hectares~43 acres) are located in several places and CRUS. This different origins of the grapes able to do different types of Champagne.


 

 

 

 

 








 

- Le Mesnil sur Oger (51-Marne) Côte des Blancs
Rated GRAND CRU 100% Chardonnay – 3 Ha which is 20% of our vineyards and 100% of the Vintages.
This terroir is very famous since the beginning of the Champagne history. Dom Pérignon in 1647 was already found of it particularity : it is well known for its strength of character and its potential of ageing. Since ever, all the Champagne Houses want to get of it. The pure Mesnil can be easily recognize, it is strong, fresh and fine as well as typical.

- Vertus (51-Marne)
Rated PREMIER CRU 99% in Pinot Noir – 1 Ha
Much more well known for its Pinot Noir than for its Chardonnay . This village had only Pinot Noir at the beginning of the century. Those Pinot are particulary fructy and give excellent red wines that we produce to do our Champagne Rosé (Blended of red wine and white wine).

- Rilly-la Montagne (51- Marne) La Montagne de Reims
Rated PREMIER CRU 99% in Pinot Noir - 1 Ha – Very fine Champagne are from this top quality grapes of this village from the Montagne de Reims. Roundness and fruitness are the particularity of this well balanced wine.

- Montgueux (10-Aube)
Rated 80% Pinot Noir 4 Ha & Chardonnay 1 Ha – The best place of the Aube, it could be a GRAND CRU de l’Aube located 100 km south from Epernay, those stopes are a little more sunny which give us a maturity.

- La Chapelle-Monthodon (02-Vallée de la Marne)
Rated 80%, Pinot Noir 4.5 Ha – The biggest vineyards of the property (3 Ha in only on piece) It has a good sun exposure and will bring a new kind of aroma very fruity.

- Le Breuil (02-Vallée de la Marne)
Rated 80%, Pinot Meunier 1.5 Ha – This is the only Pinot Meunier vineyards of the property. It will be blended for the Cuvée Réserve in order to bring all the complementarity of the great « assemblage ».
